![]() ![]() A few flying enemies and a large Floccus are all things you’re familiar with, but must now get used to fighting against as Viola. When you reach the second courtyard the verse begins. You can reach that one by double jumping from here with your grapple. You’ll find a Figure Box on the small balcony next to you.įrom that balcony, you can jump to see another Figure Box at the end of the ruined wall. After stepping through the ruined wall, look to the right. It’s time to head into the next courtyard-well… almost. ![]() Carefully jump onto the floor of the tower and walk around the back, to find a Card Pack behind the building. Jump onto the roof of the building over the largest archway to find the toad.įrom the spot, you got the toad, for the stand-alone tower past the corner of the courtyard. While still in the large courtyard head to the wall with all the archways. The Figure Box is on a small balcony to the left of the Golem chest. ![]() This courtyard contains a Golem chest with Halos. The first time you complete this challenge, you’ll earn a Moon Pearl fragment.įrom where you first enter Shuang Cha Ling, go right to reach the first courtyard. Remember that Viola can only activate Witch Time by blocking with R-instead of dodging with ZR as Bayonetta does. For this challenge, you must defeat all the enemies within the time limit, but they can only be damaged during Witch Time. Go through the slightly opened gate on the right side of the courtyard to find the portal to Verse 2. The left side of the courtyard is Verse 3, and the back of the courtyard continues the chapter. The right side of the courtyard contains Verse 2. While Cheshire is out, you can keep fighting with Viola, and you can earn the Bewitchment : “Perform a full barehanded combo on an enemy.” Keep in mind you can during any fight in this chapter. This verse contains weak enemies and is a good warmup fight to help you get comfortable with Viola. Some accessories function slightly differently with her, so press Y to see the accessories’ effects on the equipment screen. If you gained any accessories for Bayonetta, you’ll want to equip them on Viola, as she starts with none. Therefore, you’ll need to decide on whose health, magic, and skills you’ll want to invest the materials for. They do, however, share Witch Hearts, Moon Pearls, and Orbs. Viola’s skills are separate from Bayonetta's. You may also want to open the skills tab as she has her own set of skills to upgrade. Use this first area to get comfortable with Viola’s fighting style and movement. This means when playing as Viola you’ll need to forget the reflex of playing the last four chapters and get used to pressing R instead of ZR. Viola can only activate Witch Time when she blocks. Lastly, and possibly the most significant change, is how Viola activates Witch Time. Unlike Bayonetta, Viola is fully payable and can fight (barehanded) while summoning her demon. Attacks can also be held and charged for more power. She benefits from combining her X and A attacks. ![]()
